NEW AND REDISCOVERED GAMES
Go unplugged with the Flowerdew Press
Just like the printed book, traditional table games enrich and enliven in device-free time. So it is only natural that the Flowerdew Press has dreamt up some new games to offer time away from the computer screen.
Additionally, card and dice games have often been the vehicle for the equivalent of the artist book. The iconography of cards forms an essential component of cultural histories, although the casual reader might be unaware of the origins of the pictures they are admiring.
The Flowerdew Press has brought out a range of games in that tradition, both new editions of older games and new inventions.
For more about out offering of card games see the Card Games page.

Games of chance foreground the uniformly random nature of the cosmos.
Cards and dice reassure us as to the benefits of the preparation of strategies and the stoic acceptance of reversals of fortune, all from the calm of a kitchen table.
